May Commencement 2011

NEXT IMPORTANT DATE:  August 15, 2010 -- All room reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.

Applications that have been selected for rooms for May Commencement have been processed.  Summary letters have been emailed to each guest that submitted an application with the availability status of their requested rooms and information regarding the confirmation and guarantee process.

If you have been placed on the waitlist, please be assured that we monitor inventory changes continually, until the day of arrival.  Please send any questions to upcommencement@psu.edu and we will be happy to assist.

Room Guarantees:

Room reservations for May Commencement will be finalized and confirmed ONLY when they have been guaranteed with a credit card (or when a check payment has been received).  Credit card guarantees (or checks) must be received by August 15, 2010 to avoid having the room released.  No rooms will be held after August 15, 2010 without a credit card guarantee or a check payment.

Deposits:

Non-refundable deposits will be processed 30 days prior to the reservation arrival date, equal to the amount of room and tax for the Friday and/or Saturday nights for the number of rooms received.  No rooms will be held without a deposit.

Cancellations:

Requests to cancel or modify reservations for May Commencement must be received in writing at least 30 days prior to the date of arrival to avoid any cancellation fees.  Reservations canceled within 30 days of arrival will be subject to a forfeiture of the deposit on the room. 

May Commencement 2012

Applications will be taken for Spring Commencement 2012 beginning January 1, 2011 and will be available on our website.
